Cypress Chapel is a contemporary Lutheran Church that centers on families worshipping Jesus Christ together and sharing the gospel with others. Through Sunday worship, home gatherings, children’s ministry, and service to our community, we seek to form relationships - with God, with other Christians, and with people who do not yet know Jesus.

Mission and Misunderstanding

May Worship  Teaching Series @ Cypress Chapel

This May, we will explore the Gospel of Mark as it reveals Jesus' mixed reception by those in Nazareth. The disciples are sent on mission, where they are active in the mission of Jesus. Up to this point, they are just present with Jesus asHe performed miracles and teaching. Now, the disciples had an understanding of who Jesus was, or did they?

Throughout this series we will take a closer look at areas where even those closest to Christ might have missed the mark of His true mission and purpose. Just as Christ taught and equipped his disciples to go off into the mission field; we too have the privilege to continue His mission.
