Happy Thanksgiving!

what are you thankful for?

Thanksgiving is a time when we take a step back and reflect  on what we have around us and within us. Colossians 3:12-15 tells us that gratefulness should round out our new life in Christ. Consider these words:

Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another  and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.  And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

Christmas at Cypress Chapel

Giving Tree | Cookies | Caroling | FOR KING + COUNTRY | Christmas Eve | Noon Year's Eve

God's gift to the world is made clear in His Son, Jesus. God is here. He is in the midst of our sorrow and pain; He is present in our sickness and death. His Son, Jesus, came to bring us peace and be our Savior.

Celebrate this Christmas with Cypress Chapel. This year we're supporting the work of Compassion International, gathering to make cookies and sing carols, and enjoying this season together. Our gatherings are geared for families of all shapes and sizes, and that's what makes this holiday so special: time together as a family, celebrating God's presence. There is no better way to spend Christmas!
